GOAL. And that's the goal here, right? Actually getting to the finish line? Not just getting close and then saying, "close enough"? This random declaration from my primary care physician was simply because CVS mail-order pharmacy (which btw used to be the only way that it was available and now it's available through walk-ins!), imposed that 5 month max refill thing....also rather randomly. So it was a whole mess of randomness that was putting an abrupt end to the possibility of me reaching my GOAL.
It wasn't until my reader Mary pointed the absurdness of this out to me that the light bulb went off in my head! I called my doctor and and asked to continue. I explained to him my pattern of coming close and the bungee cord effect and guess what he said? Can you guess? Go ahead --- try and guess....I'll wait.
He simply said "sure". LOL. In fact, he suggested that we try and go up to the next dosage of 11.5 to see if I can't get off of this plateau. I was very excited to do this. But...and yeah there's a but....Vivus made me an offer that I just couldn't refuse. And since I wasn't able to take advantage before of any of the promotional offers that they have (since I was one of the first people to sign up and therefore actually got PUNISHED for my loyalty and excitement about the product being launched!), I thought now was my chance. They are offering the same dosage that I'm on now 7.5 for 3 months at half price. Since I know that 3 months is what I'll need to reach my goal, I took them up on it. And my doctor and I agreed that if I'm really not seeing the results that I need to after a month more on this dosage I'll simply have to pay more for the higher dosage for a month. I could really use the savings.
So that's where I'm at! Still on it! Still losing weight! Still feeling great! Still eating healthy! Ready to reach my GOAL!
