But....I do seem to be stuck. I'm practicing maintenance, but I'd prefer to get to goal and then do that! I'm going to make this week's post short.
My goal this week is to break through this plateau. I'm going to do whatever it takes to see a nice weight loss this week. I am going to lose a minimum of 1.5 lbs this week. (An interesting side note since this blog is primarily about a women doing this with the help of the weight loss drug Qsymia....that I am now taking the drug only every other day, weaning myself of it. My doctors will not prescribe any more of it and quite frankly I feel like it's time for me to do it on my own as well. So, one has to wonder if this is an omen as to what is to come now when I fully remove myself from the drug. Will weight gain be imminent? Will keeping this weight off be nearly impossible? Will it slowly creep back up on me?)
The short answer to all of those questions is NO. And NO. I will be monitoring my weight this time so heavily that it couldn't possibly happen. I've learned that that's what thin people do! NEWS FLASH! They monitor their weight, so that 2 lbs doesn't turn into 20 or 30 or 50 lbs! When they see that they've gained 2 lbs, guess what they do? No....the answer isn't ignore it and eat another Krispy Kreme. They immediately take action to lose those 2 lbs!
So here is my spoken goal for this week. I am putting it out there to the universe and to all of you:
THIS WEEK I WILL BREAK THROUGH MY PLATEAU AND LOSE 1.5 LBS.
